Biography

Dmytro Baiura in 1992, graduated with honors from the Kyiv Taras Shevchenko University and received a qualification as an economics and geographer. He began his career in 1992 as an economist at the Department of Economics at the Institute of Horticulture of the Ukrainian Academy of Agrarian Sciences. In 1993-1998 he worked as the head of the department, the deputy director of the Department for Property Reform in the agro-industrial complex of the State Property Fund of Ukraine. In February 1997 he defended his Ph.D. thesis. In 1998-1999 he was a professional consultant of the international consulting and auditing company PricewaterhouseCoopers. In 1999-2000 he was an economics columnist in Ukrainian Investment Newspaper. Since September 2000 he has been working at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In June 2010, he defended his doctoral dissertation on “Transformation of the corporate governance system in Ukraine”. Since March 2013, he has been working as a professor at the Department of Enterprise Economics. Teaches disciplines: Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Professional Ethics, Corporate Supervision and Controlling, Corporate Restructuring. Has more than 130 scientific works.
